The Cortez Public Library is currently open to the public Monday through Friday from 10 am to 5 pm.

For patrons who prefer limited contact or need accommodation, doorside pickup is still available. 
The Library is happy to announce that study rooms will be available again starting June 1st. Our small study rooms can accommodate two people, the large study room can accommodate up to four people. At this point, the conference room is still closed.

Please visit to book a study room. Reservations can be made a week in advance for a maximum of two hours per day. In case you need to cancel your reservation, you can do so up to an hour in advance of your time slot.

Patrons may check out library laptops for use outside of the building with a current state-issued photo ID.

Our Wi-Fi hours are:

Monday – Thursday 7:30 am to 7:00 pm

Friday & Saturday 7:30 am to 5:00 pm                                       

Public computers are available on a first come, first served basis. Use is limited to one 55-minute session per person per day. Please contact staff at the front desk if you need more time. 
The photocopier is available for self-service use. Unfortunately, we cannot offer faxing at this time.

Staff assistance with technology will be limited.

With your Cortez Public Library Card, you get free access to our digital library at Simply download the Libby App, select "Cortez Public Library", enter your card number and you're all set! If you've lost your library card, please call us for your card number.
